'Gaining Entry'

Densely packed zine providing in depth information on gaining entry to abandoned buildings for the purpose of squatting, specifically in Ireland. The zine gives an overview of tools of the trade and how to use them, from household screwdrivers to oxy-acetelyne torches, going on to detailed(and ingenious) methods for house hunting and approaches to gaining entry(complete with distraction techniques to use on passing pedestrians), along with rudimentary legal grounding for squatters in Ireland. This is a impressively thorough guide to 'gaining entry' complete with colour photos and some humorous illustrations. I think I picked this up either in the (now defunct) 'Barricade Inn' squat on Parnell st which was an amazing building complete with a library and a great gig event space.

OUTOUT Schedule

Poster/schedule for the first 'OutOut' gig held in Skibereen, west Cork. 'OutOut' have a DIY ethos and  organise irregularly held music events showcasing electronic and leftfield Irish music acts.

The Complete Manual of Pirate Radio - Zeke Teflon

Photocopied zine on setting up a functional pirate FM radio transmitter. I think this may originally have been published as a paperback edition but the copy I have is what I presume to be a bootleg zine version(picked up in 'Blue Stockings' bookshop, New York). Im curious as to how many FM pirate radio stations are still in existence, very few I'd imagine and probably exceptionally rare for anyone to establish new FM pirate radio station. None the less a great document on DIY repurposing of a somewhat (outmoded) technology, offering a pretty in depth guide on the electrical technical ins and outs of setting up a transmitter.

Twisted-Monthly

Comic and video game magazine from Templeogue, Dublin. No clear date of publishing but adverts and coupons inside would indicate in or around 1993. Comics look influenced by 2000ad style British strips and are good fun whacky sci-fi shorts. Rest of the issue features games and a couple of movie reviews. Couldn't find much info online after a very quick google but it would appear this is the first and only issue. Picked up in a charity shop on Francis street, Dublin 8...
